Synopsis
On May 9th 2000, the Irish registered fishing vessel "Spailpin Fanach" sailed from Castletownbere, Co. Cork with a crew of four on board. On 13th May 2000, while preparing to haul nets in position 52º 52 North, 011º 14 West, one of the crew, John O’Leary fell overboard. After some time Mr O’Leary’s body was recovered and was subsequently landed at Castletownbere.
